South India Kerala

This itinerary starts from Calicut and ends at Kovalam. Hence travel arrangements will be from Cochin in the beginning and Trivandrum at the end will have to be made. Kindly give your arrival and departure dates and cities so that we can customize the tour for you.

Day 1: Arrive New Delhi. India Gate, Delhi Tourism
Reception and transfer to Hotel by private car. Overnight in hotel.

Day 2: In Delhi
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of New Delhi by private car with an English speaking guide to visit:- India Gate, Humayun's Tomb, Bahai Temple, Qutab Minar, Iron Pillar, and driving through the Diplomatic Enclave to see the various High Commission Central Secretariat Buildings, Rashtrapati Bhawan, The Parliament House, Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch departn for sightseeing of Old Delhi by the same car and guide to visit:- Ferozshah Kotla, Rajghat, Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 3: Bangalore
Early morning our representative will transfer to airport for taking flight to Bangalore:- Depart Delhi IC 803 0615. Arrive Bangalore 0845 Our representative will receive at airport and transfer to Hotel by private car. Rest until lunch. After lunch depart for sightseeing of Bangalore city by private car with an English speaking guide to visit : Cubbon Park, Government Museum, Vidhan Sabha, Lalbagh, Botanical Garden, Ulsoor Lake,. Return to hotel for overnight stay

Day 4: Mysore
After breakfast depart Bangalore for Mysore (134 kms) by private car with a good driver, stopping enroute to visit the famous Summer Palace of Tipu Sultan known as Srirangapatnam. After seeing Srirangapatnam drive on to Mysore, arriving Hotel by lunch time. After lunch depart for sightseeing of Mysore city by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: Chamundi Hill, Government Silk Factory, Sandalwood Oil Factory, Art Gallery, Brindaban Gardens, Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5: Ooty
After breakfast depart Mysore for Ooty ( 160 Kms.)by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel before lunch. After lunch day free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 6: Ooty Ooty Mountain,  Ooty, Indian Travels
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of Ooty by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: Botanical Garden, Lake, Ketty Valley View, Doddabetta, Wenlock Downs, Lady Canning Seat, Dolphin'ss Nose, Limb's Rock, Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch free to do what you please. Dinner and overnight in hotel.

Day 7: Cochin
After breakfast depart Ooty for Cochin by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel by lunch time. After lunch leave for sightseeing of Cochin by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: Jewish, Synagogue Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jew Town, ST. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets, High Court Building, Broadway Shopping Centre, Santacruz Cathedral, Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 8: In Cochin
After breakfast get ready to enjoy a motor launch ride on the back waters of Cochin on palm fringed water and see the Kerala way of life through the lake. During the boat ride one can visit:- Bolghatty island, Vallarpadam, Vypeen island, Ancient Roman Catholic Church, Chinese Fishing Net, Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 9: Periyar
After breakfast depart Cochin for Periyar by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel by lunch time. After lunch free at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 10: In Periyar
After breakfast full day set-aside for enjoying a boat cruise in Periyar Lake with lunch break. The most enjoyable part of seeing the wildlife is going around the lake in a boat. From the safety of a boat you can witness herds of wild elephants coming down to water and swim. The other prominent fauna to be seen are Tiger, Sambar, Barking deer, Mouse deer, Nilgiri Tahr, Wild Pigs, Wild dogs, Porcupine, Lion-tailed macaque, Malabar Squirrel, Flying Squirrel, Sloth Bear, Gaur and Black Langur (Monkey). Tigers and Leopards seldom come to the lakeside by day. Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 11: MaduraiMeenakshi Temple, Madurai, Tour Packages
After breakfast depart Periyar for Madurai by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel by lunch time. After lunch depart for sightseeing of Madurai city by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit:- Meenakshi Temple, Tirumalai Nayak Palace, Vandiyur Mariamman Tank, Koodal Alagar Temple(Vishnu Temple), Gandhi Museum, Return to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12: Tiruchirapalli
After breakfast depart Madurai for Tiruchirapalli by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel by noon. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in hotel.

Day 13: Tiruchirapalli
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of Tirucherapalli by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: The Rock Fort, Srirangam, Sri Ranganathan Temple, Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch depart for an excursion to Tanjore to visit Sri Brahadiswara Temple, Art Gallery, Library, Hall of Music, Schwartz Church and The Tank by the same car with an English speaking guide. Return to Hotel for overnight.

Day 14: Pondicherry
After breakfast depart Tiruchirapalli for Pondicherry by the same car and driver, arriving Hotel by lunch time. After settling down in the hotel depart for sightseeing of Pondicherry by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: The Beach French Institute Romain Rolland Library Sri Aurobindo Ashram Return to hotel for overnight.

Day 15: MadrasKerla Dancer, Madras, Holiday Tours
After breakfast depart Pondicherry for Madras (Chennai) by the same car and driver stopping enroute to visit the famous
:- Kanchipuram: is one of the seven great ancient cities of India, and the only one South of the Vindhyas. It was the capital for the Cholas, the Pallavas. Kancheepuram is the city where Buddhism, Jainism and Hinduism flourished. It is also the seat of Sankaracharya of Kanchi Koti Peetham. Places you visit in Kanchipuram: Kailasanatha Temple, Vaikunta Perumal Temple, Sri Kamakshi Amman Temple, Sri Ekamranatha Temple, Sri Varadaraja Temple, Mahabalipuram: Once a flourishing port of the Pallavas is now a Major Beach Resort. It is 57 Km from Madras. Beautiful monument erected by the Pallavas. There are sculptural panels, Caves, Monolithic Rathas and Structural Temples. Places you visit in Mahabalipuram with local guide like:- Caves, The Shore Temple, The Five Rathas, Old Light House, Trimurthi Caves, Varaha And Tiger Caves, Sculpture Training Centre, After seeing Mahabalipuram continue drive to Chennai, arriving Hotel in the evening. Day 16: In Madras
After breakfast depart for sightseeing of Madras city by the same car with an English speaking guide to visit: The Museum, National Art Gallery, People's Park and Zoo, Fort, San Thome's Cathedral along the Marina, Mylapore Temple, Aquarium, Victoria Technical Institute, Theosophical Society, Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch free to do what you please. Overnight in hotel.

Day 17: Delhi
After breakfast our representative will transfer to airport by private car:- Depart Chennai (Madras) IC 430 0955 Arrive Delhi 1225 Meet and greet by our representative at the domestic airport and transfer to Hotel by private car. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in hotel. Day 18: Departure Today our representative will transfer to International airport for taking onward flight to next destination.

Day 06: Cochin - Kumarakom
In the morning excursion to Cheruthuruthy to visit Mohiniattam dance center and Kathakali. Afternoon backwater tour from Cochin to Kumarakom. On arrival check-in at hotel. Whole night at the hotel.

Day 07: Kumarakom - Trivandrum
Next day morning at leisure. Later depart for Trivandrum by the road. Transfer to international airport on arrival to connect flight for onward trip.
